Embarking on the Thames Path virtual challenge spans 58 kilometers (36 miles). This digital adventure allows you to explore the picturesque landscapes and historic landmarks along the Thames River. As you log your kilometers, you'll virtually travel from the source of the river to the heart of London, passing through charming villages, rolling countryside, and iconic sights.

How Long Would it Take to Walk the Thames Path Challenge?

Walking the Thames Path Challenge, covering 58 kilometers (36 miles), depends on your daily step count. If you log 40,000 steps a day, you could complete the journey in about 2 days. For those recording 26,000 steps daily, it would take around 3 days. A more leisurely pace of 13,000 steps a day would extend the challenge to approximately 6 days. This virtual challenge accommodates various fitness levels, allowing participants to enjoy the journey at their own pace.

How Long Would it Take to Cycle the Thames Path Challenge?

Cycling the Thames Path Challenge, covering 58 kilometers (36 miles), varies based on your daily distance. If you cycle 100 kilometers (62 miles) a day, you could complete the journey in less than a day. At a pace of 70 kilometers (43 miles) daily, the journey would extend to about a day. For those cycling 50 kilometers (31 miles) daily, it would take just over a day. This virtual cycling challenge caters to different fitness levels and schedules, ensuring a thrilling experience for all participants.

You have two options for completing the challenge, depending on whether you want to go solo or collaborate with others. The first option is for each member of your team to individually complete the full challenge, racing against each other. The other option is to work as a team to collectively cover the distance, dividing the total kilometers among team members.

There are three ways to record your activities:

  1. Just daily steps
  2. All distance-based activities (e.g., cycling, running, walking)
